3 With a declaration that protection from discrimination and basic access to government services, housing, employment and recreation are important for the well-being of Coloradans with disabilities, in 2023, legislators created the Task Force on the Rights of Coloradans with Disabilities. The Task Force was created with the mission of bringing together the appropriate stakeholders, experts, and impacted groups to study and make recommendations concerning issues related to persons with disabilities.
